What’s the Glittering Court? The Glittering Court is like a school that transform poor girls to an upper-class ladies. Why? Because there’s this place called the New World and the majority of the citizens there are males and they’re looking for proper females to marry.
What does this have to do with anything? Well this book follows the story of Adelaide, the countess of Osfridian who poses as her lady in waiting to join the Glittering Court so she could escape an arranged marriage.

Training to be an upper-class lady is easy when you’re countess but try training to be an upper-class lady when you’re a runaway countess who’s posing as a servant .. Not so easy anymore especially when the hot son of the proprietor of the Glittering Court is suspecting something.

Adelaide meets 2 interesting girls that she befriends and each one of them is hiding her own secrets. The story continues till they reach the New World and the New World is not as promising as you might think it’s. Many things happen there and you will be sitting on the edge of your seat.

This story has some of The Selection elements in it and it represents strong independent women who goes after what she wants no matter how complicated her path is. It was fun, cute and interesting read.
